3D text effect
First create a new document. My file has a size of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but you can also use a different file size.
Then select the horizontal type tool. Pick a text color, this will be the color of the 3D effect (I use a light gray color). Then type your text.
Select the move tool and press CTRL+T to activate free transform. You can now resize and move the text.
Make sure the move tool is still activated. Hold the ALT key and press the arrow up key multiple times to create the 3D effect. By doing this, you will move the text up in a new layer. Continue this until the 3D effect is high enough (I make 80 copies).
Then change the color of the top text layer. I make this text white.
And that’s how you create a 3D text effect in Adobe Photoshop!
